About Me
Hi, my name is Kerry.
I have been working with young children for seventeen years now and am very passionate about what I do.
I have worked in nurseries, working my way up the career ladder but now am childminding as I want to run my own business. I have been childminding since April 2018.
I live with my husband Dale, our little girl and our fish! I enjoy keeping fit - going to the gym, running, walking and biking, and I also enjoy reading and baking.
My Experience
As mentioned before, I have over seventeen years experience working with children. I have worked with all early years ages and some older children too.
I have worked with children who have English as an additional language and who require extra support.
I have been on a number of training courses, such as First Aid, Fire Safety, SENCo, Health and Safety and Elklan to name a few.
My Qualifications
I worked my way through the childcare levels, attaining my BA Hons in Early Years.

Kerry looked after our little boy from 9 months old until 3 and a half. She is an incredible childminder, she always did everything she could to go above and beyond when looking after our little one.
She is very professional and ensured we had detailed records of his day, gave him healthy snacks, wrote down all his achievements and did loads of fun activities. We would 100% recommend her and will always be grateful for everything she has done for us.

Our two sons have loved attending Kerry's setting. She has provided a warm and happy home from home environment, which has really suited our children. Her home is well-resourced, safe and clean. The children have always been well settled and very happy - they love her and her husband, Dale.
Kerry offers a great range of activities to suit the children's interests and also takes the children out to groups and on day trips. She provides the right mix of love and education, encouraging independence whilst giving the children a sense of security.
I have every trust in Kerry's abilities to keep my children safe and happy and would wholeheartedly recommend her.
