About Me
I am Emma, a 38 year old mother of 3 daughters who are 12, 10 and 7 years and attend schools in Southam.
I was a stay at home Mum for years, up until my youngest daughter started school and I currently work as a teaching assistant in a primary school across all year groups. I have a lot of SEN experience as well as training in phonics, safeguarding and behaviour.
When I am with my daughters I love to be out and about doing various things like swimming, going to the park, nature walks, picnics in the summer, soft play and days out. I am also hands on at home doing things like baking, arts and crafts and painting.
I have a current DBS check and paediatric first aid. I completed a NVQ Level 2 in children’s care and development in 2009 and can provide my certificate and excellent references.
I live in Southam and have a fully clean driving licence and a 7 seater car and I am willing to travel. I am also a non smoker. I do also speak basic Spanish for any billingual families.
I am looking for a maximum of 3 days a week and I can be pretty flexible with availability including school holidays if the family are happy with my own children being with me too.

My Experience
I have vast experience with children, (not only from being a Mum myself,) but from working as a nursery nurse, a teaching assistant in a primary school and babysitting including children with SEN. I naturally love being with children and believe I have a good rapport with them. I like to be nurturing, loving and caring but also understand the need for boundaries and teaching manners, kindness and respect.
