About Me
I am an experienced and caring registered childminder in Whitchurch, Cardiff. I am married with two adult children who have now left home.
I care for children aged under 5, a maximum of three at any time, but usually two. We meet up with friends regularly for the children to play together and have a friendship group.
I provide wrap around care for the nurseries at Ysgol Melingruffydd, Whitchurch Primary and also Cylch Meithrin in Penlline Road.
I plan activities and outings to support children's learning and development, following the Foundation Phase guidelines, taking into account each child's interests and abilities. I have a dedicated playroom with books, toys, and puzzles and also a wide variety of outdoor play equipment in the garden. Children also enjoy art and craft, playdough and messy play.
My Experience
I have been a registered childminder for more than 25 years, as well as bringing up two children of my own. I enjoy spending time with young children and helping them learn through play. I follow the National Minimum Standards for Childminders and have had regular inspections by the Care Inspectorate Wales. All inspection reports are available for parents to view, as well as references and policies.

I work Tuesday to Friday, my usual hours are 8 to 5.30 but can be flexible if required.
