About Me
As a family, we love to explore together either in London or afar. My husband and I are from the United States, although I've been living here since 1998. We have two daughters: 13 and 10 years old. Both girls attend schools in Hammersmith. I am a CEO so appreciate flexibility with respect to child care.
We live on the Shepherd's Bush/Chiswick border in West London which has good transport links into central London but still has a great community and lots of local parks. You'll hear birds tweeting out your window but still be able to use the Tube and Bus to get to central London and we are a 10 minute walk from the centre of Chiswick which has a good combination of local amenities and chains.
We have a lively Golden Retriever, Howie, who is nearly 6 - he is almost well behaved - but is still a puppy at heart so the post is really only suitable for someone who loves friendly, lively dogs.
We like to laugh, have fun, and travel.
My Requirements
We are looking for a summer nanny from early July through mid August 2022. Can be 4-5 days a week. we are looking for an experienced warm, energetic, organised, and responsible Nanny to take care of our 2 wonderful daughters. They are active girls who love to laugh and explore and want a fun 'big sister' to take care of them, plan and do outings, and keep them safe.
In addition to childcare, responsibilities include family laundry and keeping the kitchen and kids rooms tidy. We feel that the most suitable candidate will have similar previous childcare experience and have a good control of English, and love to clean and iron.
You'll be expected to engage with them and help them with homework, cook their dinner and get them ready to bed. Helping to arrange playdates with local children is part of the fun.
We do not usually use the car for area transport, and it would be expected that walking, buses, tubes, and, even biking (bike can be provided) is used day to day.
We are easy-going and enjoy being together as a family and look forward to welcoming you to have a laugh with us!
