My Summary

My Experience

As the eldest of 8 children, I have several years of experience looking after children of all ages (my siblings now range from the ages of 9-21), however I am especially good with toddlers and young children.

As my mother worked as a midwife and my father is an officer in the Royal Navy, I have often been responsible for looking after my younger siblings throughout their young lives, and have now carried the skills that I have learned through to looking after other children.

I have 6 years of professional babysitting and nannying experience and have built up a great reputation in both the Naval married quarter I used to call home, and in London. Because of this, I have several brilliant references.

Over the last few years I have held three sole-charge nannying positions, one for a family in Essex and the others for families in South-West London. During this time I cared for two young children (aged 6 and 15 months), and two children of 7. I would have full-time care of the baby during the day, and also be responsible for the older child during the time she was not at school. Other tasks included cooking for the children, making sure the communal areas of the house and the children's bedrooms were clean and tidy, and occasionally running errands for the family.

In terms of skills, I am a capable cook, housekeeper, seamstress and a lover of sports and reading! I love all things musical theatre - a passion that has helped me to be confident, well-organised and a team player. I love animals, so families with pets are absolutely welcome to get in touch!

I have just completed my first year of Teacher Training at Brighton University, and am now taking some time out because of the current pandemic.

I am fully flexible during the week and weekends.

My Qualifications

I am in the process of gaining my Teaching qualification, and hold a full enhanced DBS.

I have 12 GCSEs, grade C or higher, including an A* in English literature and language studies. I also have 3 A-Levels, also of Grade C and higher.

My Availability

I am fully available at the moment, as my studies have been suspended until further notice.

My Fees

• Nannying from £10.00 per hour (net)
• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
