About Us

Little Spuds Day Nursery is Open to all babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers of Timperley, Brooklands, Baguley, Wythenshawe and surrounding areas. We are located just off Brooklands roundabout. Little Spuds Day Nursery is owned by local parents and childminders Rebecca and Jason Murrell. They have children of their own and understand the importance of the perfect setting. We cater for all needs and have flexible childcare and payment options available. Little Spuds Day Nursery benefits from a sensory room, outdoor area with all year round accessibility as well as individually planned rooms for children ages 0-5. The Nursery is ran by Rebecca who has been graded ‘good’ by Ofsted for her Childminding and a loving nursery team who are all First Aid trained.
The nursery is dedicated to providing the safest learning and nurturing environment within a very friendly and social atmosphere. Little Spuds Day Nursery offers care from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm Monday to Friday all year round for children aged 3 months to 5 years (school age).
Our enthusiastic staff are qualified in childcare and include an experienced nursery Manager, and Nursery Nurses are qualified to Level 5 and Level 3, and Apprentices. All staff are DBS checked, have level 2 food hygiene and Paediatric first aid training. The team work together in a child-led environment, using the Early Years’ Foundation Stage curriculum (EYFS) to provide high quality learning and care opportunities supporting your child’s development.
At our nursery you will find a wide range of activities taking place both indoors and out. Children are encouraged to spend as much time as possible in our garden designed to be accessible to all.
All children have a key person who is responsible for their care routines and is the parents main point of contact in nursery. The key person role is to get to know the child and their interests then plan activities and experiences to extend the child’s skills and knowledge.
