My Summary

My Experience

I adore working with children. I was given an opportunity to work with a Childminder at the begining of 2018 and the experience has changed my life. During my time at this job I gained a Paediatric First Aid award and a certificate regarding Child Safeguarding. I love to spend time outside with children, encouraging exploring. I am also keen to help children express themselves creatively. I recently stated working at Gymboree. At this place of work I was a Play and Learn Teacher. This consisted of me leading classes for different ages of children from birth to the age of 5. I have also worked as a Nursery Practitioner at a local day nursery, typically working with 2-4 year olds. The age range of children I have been a nanny for is from 0-6. Lots of playing, laughing, space for creativity and safety are my main priorities when looking after children.

I decided to leave an office job that was not bringing me any joy in life around the beginning of the pandemic and returned to being a nanny.

I struggled with infertility for 3 years but I finally have my own little bundle of joy who was born in March 2021. I am looking to return to work as a nanny for a family who would be willing to let me bring my little one with me.

Unfortunately I cannot work on Wednesdays and Thursdays as I have other work commitments. Can be flexible with hours on other days and willing to babysit in the evenings. I can be available on weekends as my partner works every Saturday and every other Sunday.

I have had two covid vaccinations.

I drive and have a clean license but I prefer taking children out for local walks and to local parks rather than out in the car.

I also have a double pushchair for taking little ones out and about. You would need to provide me with a car seat for your child if you required driving. Petrol expenses for school pick ups/drop offs are expected to be covered by the family and not myself.

My Qualifications

I have a Bachelor's Degree from the UEA. I do not hold Childcare Qualifications but am fully aware of the EYFS and Child Safeguarding and First Aid. I personally follow gentle and Montessori style parenting.

My Availability

I am not offering wrap-around childcare (school drop offs/pick ups and after school only).

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.50 per hour

I continuously strive to be better and give every ounce of energy into caring for children. This is reflected in my hourly rate, however if longer days are required on a long term basis I am willing to negotiate a daily charge which works in both favours.
