My name is Abi, and I’m available for evening and weekend babysitting.
I'm 25 years old and I live in a small village outside of Salisbury with my husband and little boy. After I finished my A levels I worked at a nursery for just under 2 years, completing an apprenticeship to become qualified as a Level 3 Early Years Educator.
I currently work as a reception class teaching assistant.
My last job was a full time nanny for two children. I did before/after school care for the eldest and looked after the youngest during the day (And had them both during school holidays). I loved this job and worked for the family for two years.
I have always loved working with children. I decided I wanted to pursue a career in childcare after spending a large amount of time looking after my young cousins as they grew up.
When I worked at the nursery, I was responsible for a key group of children, overseeing their care and development. I loved doing craft activities with the children, and taking them for walks to encourage them to explore nature.
My Experience
I have just under 2 years experience working as a key person in a nursery setting.
I was a nanny to two lovely children for almost 3 years.
I have spent time looking after my young cousins, and have done frequent babysitting for other families.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified level 3 early years educator, and hold a pediatric first aid certificate. I also completed a level 2 food safety and hygiene course. I have an enhanced DBS check.
