About Me
I am friendly, reliable and flexible to the needs of family/individuals. Looking for some part time work with children in their home - whether childcare, babysitting or tutoring. Happy to help out as required - nursery/school pick up, homework, lifeskills, play/activities including messy play! meal prep etc. Also work overnights with some families to provide respite so bedtimes/babysitting/morning routines not a problem.
Outside of work I enjoy seeing friends and family, cooking, films, crafting (currently have items on sale in Kent), walking and swimming.
My Experience
Taking a break from teaching (overloaded with paperwork rather than enjoying the teaching and being with the children!)
Have worked with mainstream children, a range of special needs in SLD schools aswell as children with Speech, language and Communication needs. Have been babysitting for families for the last 24 years for children aged between 1month-15years.
For 15 years I have tutored KS1 and KS2 English and Maths, plus special needs tutoring giving support for basic literacy/numeracy/communication/self help skills and working on therapy programmes as required.
At various times over the last 15 years I have worked part time with 12 different families as a carer/PA for children with learning difficulties and additional needs. I currently work with 6 families in current locality but will be moving to Kent and looking for work.

3 A levels
BA Hons in primary education plus QTS
PECs trained
Makaton trained
Paediatric First aid (due for renewal November 2025)
My Availability
Currently work and live in Surrey but looking to relocate and hoping to find some work midweek til I move permanently.
