About Me

Dear parents/careers and guardians,

I am a reliable, kind hearted, hardworking qualified Early years professional. I have 15 years experience in Early year, KS1, KS2. I am very dedicated and have a passion to support children and help them to reach their goals and develop positively. I make it my priority to get to know the child and family well whilst working to develop a strong learning and caring foundation.

Working in schools made me realise how much I enjoyed working alongside children and my experience as a HLTA made me more determined to become a part time babysitter/tutor as a career choice. I found working with children very interesting. As a HLTA many of my duties were to help children develop social and interpersonal skills. I carried out literacy and numeracy activities with small groups of children which helped me to develop management strategies when dealing with behaviour issues. By carrying out literacy and numeracy activities I will be able to help children with their homework. I have also looked after young toddlers as a babysitter and this has helped me to develop further on my skills and experiences.

I am well-motivated and ambitious individual with a flexible approach to improve and gain new skills and have a strong sense of responsibility. I have a good interpersonal, time management and communication skills, together with an ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team, with a commitment to succeed. I enjoy working as part of a team and have the ability to adapt to a new working environment and can use my skills to positively contribute towards my working situation. I can also be flexible with regards to taking additional responsibilities or working extra hours if required. I enjoy working with children and helping meet their individual needs. I found working with children very interesting throughout my placement as I watched them develop and pick up new skills. I feel a sense of accomplishment when helping children develop life skills which will help them to become independent.

I am first aid trained and I have completed Safeguarding training. Also I have a enhanced DBS check and I have cared for newborns, toddlers, infants, KS1, KS2, special needs children. I am hardworking individual and put my full potential in everything I do.

I am very privileged to play a pivotal role in young children's lives and help them to develop skills which will help them in later life and when they go on to adulthood. Becoming a babysitter/tutor is a very rewarding profession and makes a real difference as they are the next generation of society.

I am currently working as an HLTA.

My services include tutoring children in English, Phonics, Maths and babysitting.
