Hi there, I am a 34 year old lady (from Scotland). I have lived in Cardiff for 2 years now with my fiance, who is from Cardiff. I have cared for children in various settings for 18 years now and enjoy their company and extending their knowledge. My Experience
I am a qualified and experienced childcare practitioner who has 18 years of experience working with children aged 0-10. I have worked in many educational/health settings over the years...nursery, schools, nannied, early years centres, health visiting and neonatal ward. I love being around children and enjoy encouraging them to learn through play as well as build on their emotional, personal and social skills. I am DBS checked, qualified first aider and experienced disignated member of staff in child protection. I currently work as a community nursery nurse for Flying Start/NHS.
My Qualifications
Qualified with a HNC in childcare and education.
I am a qualified and experienced first aider.
I am also qualified and experienced in child protection.
I have been ongoingly trained in food hygiene.
Over the years, I have been trained in the following... baby massage, infant feeding, breast feeding, literacy and play, sensory development. I also have a sound knowledge of child development.
My Availability
I am available some week day evenings and occasional weekends. Availability can be discussed with the right family.
