About Me
I am a caring, patient, creative professional with a good sense of humour. I am a Wife and a Mummy to three girls aged 14, 10 and 4. I am currently working in a Pre-School but have experience in many other childcare settings as detailed in the section below. I am childcare qualified to Degree Level 5 and have up to date Pediatric First Aid Training. I do not drive so would need to work within walking distance of Bitterne Park.
My Experience
I have had experience in working with children from 3 months to 7 years for the past 16 years. I have worked in nursery, school, after school and Pre-school settings with school being my main area of expertise. I have experience in children with additional needs having worked on a one to one basis with children with autism, hearing impairment and global delay.
My Qualifications
I completed a Cache Diploma Level 3 in Childcare and Education after leaving school in 2000 and then went on to complete a Level 5 Foundation Degree in Early Years Care and Education at Southampton University. I have recently completed a Pediatric First Aid course and have a current DBS check.
My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday with the possibly of working the occasional weekend. I would prefer term time only to fit in my my children's care needs but this can be discussed. I do need to be around for the morning school runs in the morning so would be unable to work before this time unless your child/children attend Bitterne Park Primary or you are willing to drop them off at my residence in the morning and I will return to your property for the remainder of the time after the school run. I love animals and will be more than happy to do dog walks if you have any. Would also be willing to do light house work as I am alittle obsessive when it comes to cleaning ?. I am available to work till early evening but would like to get back in time for dinner with my family each day. I may also available for weekend babysitting but would need to be informed in advance for this service.
