About Me
I am a qualified primary teacher, currently working in Year 5. I also have over 4 years experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant in a SEN School in Surrey catering for children with complex social communication difficulties and autism. Prior to this I worked in the SEN department of a large main stream secondary school. I have a broad base of specialist experience to offer and am looking to support children's learning and development, within their home and local environment. I am also a mum of two.

My Experience
I provide a holistic and flexible approach, offering professional, specialist learning support within your home. I have over 8 years of SEN experience, working with children who experience Speech,Language, Communication as their primary barrier to learning.
I offer a service which is planned around the individual needs, and/or EHCP needs of your child, in order to address all aspects of childhood development and learning.
I can also deliver prescribed Home/School programmes, Occupational Therapy programmes,Physiotherapy Programmes ,Speech Therapy programmes, Life skills etc. Specialist multi-sensory approaches and techniques are applied in order to address your child's individual learning style.
My Qualifications
Prior to my teaching qualification I completed a BA Hons in child centred inter professional practice following a foundation degree in Special Educational Needs and Inclusive practice.
I have enhanced DBS clearance and references are available on request. I am also first aid/epipen trained and up to date with current safeguarding legislation and e-safety training.
My Availability
9.30-2.30 Thursday and Friday. After school tutoring Monday-Friday and can be flexible with weekends.
