As a children`s nurse, I have enjoyed working with babies and children and their families for over 30 years.I am very experienced with children with complex additional needs (Autism,Epilepsy, chronic illness..) People I work with describe me as professional, reliable and confident; they appreciate that I am very friendly with a great sense of humour and that I get on with people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. I strive to encourage those in my care to enjoy life and achieve their potential.
Personally, I have lots of energy and many hobbies, particularly: crafts and baking with my young grandaughter. I also enjoy keeping fit with body combat and walking my dog; I relax by reading, listening to music and spending time with my family (I have three children - now in their twenties - and a granddaughter). A few years ago I bought a cottage in the Yorkshire Dales that I renovated with my husband and rent out for holidays.
I live in Rochdale, drive and have a car.
