Hi,
I hold a Professional Graduate Certificate in Education with a background in Early Years and Primary Education and Child Development. I currently work part time at Darlington College. My Experience
I've worked for several years as a Teaching Assistant in a mainstream primary school in the Middlesbrough area. I have experience of working with special needs children, both physical disabilities and learning difficulties. I've worked with young people aged 6 weeks into adulthood in various roles and capacities, so I'm very flexible in my approach and have a wide range of skills.
My Qualifications
As well as 13 GCSE's (Including Maths, English and Science), and 4 A Levels, I hold and NVQ2 Teaching Assistants, NVQ3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, the primary level induction for teaching assistants, a 2:1 BA hons degree in Early Childhood Studies, a post graduate diploma in CPD in Education, and a PGCE. Alongside these qualifications I also hold paediatric first aid, dyslexia awareness and autism awareness and I'm trained in Montessori provision after spending some time in a voluntary role as part of my EYPS.
My Availability
I'm currently available to work any hours, but am Seeking part time ideally. I have no other fixed commitments at present so I can fit around you :-)

My Fees
For my tutoring work I charge £10 for an hour session; this rate is negotiable for long term support. For babysitting/childminding, I charge £7 per hour before midnight, and £8 per hour after midnight.
