Hello! My name is Kat. I have worked in childcare for 10 years and have just finished a job in a lovely mainstream school.
I am seeking a new challenge in the world of childcare and education, whilst I have found being a TA/LSA (which I have been since 2018-working across various schools in London and the south east) extremely rewarding I am looking for a new challenge in the world of childcare!
What am I looking for? I am looking for a kind, loving family to work with to provide exemplary childcare and support to their offspring! I have worked with EYFS since 2020 and would ideally love to continue working with 4-6 year olds.
What can I bring to the role? A creative, fluid and lively approach to early years education and childcare. I love getting messy with the children I work with during forest school, art activities and play. I would love to help your child develop a love for art and creativity.
I obtained a 2:1 in Illustration from Solent University in 2018 and have been working as an artist since 2016.
My availability? Monday-Thursday (2-4 days a week!) I would ideally like to have Fridays off due to religious observance (I'm Jewish!). My hours are relatively flexible (2pm-7pm).
Availability from ? January 2024
I live in Waltham Forest and rely on public transport for commuting.

My Experience
I have had 12 years of childcare experience, including 5 as a babysitter (full day, evening and overnight) and 4 as a lunchtime supervisory assistant and teaching assistant in a primary school setting. I have experience as a classroom assistant in SEN , Nursery and Primary Schools as well. I currently work as a TA in a mainstream school.
