Hi! I’m Mirna, but everyone (and everywhere) calls me Mimi, I’m 35 woman from Rome, Italy. I left my country 6 years ago to travel and eventuallyI stopped in London. I love reading, outdoors activity, messy play, art and craft. I’m creative, I have a lot of imagination and I like tell stories (and act stories) to the kids. I live in Harringay and since 2020 I worked local. I'm happy and comfortable with multiple children, babies, twins.
My Experience
I’m a 35yo woman, I’m italian and I’ve been a nursery teacher for 4 years. I hold a psychological science graduation and after 500hours of internship I became a nursery teacher.
During my travel I worked in a Montessori kindergarten in Vietnam and also I helped in two playgroups in Australia, but not in a formal way.
I’m London (since may2019) I had two temporary positions before meet the family I worked for. From September 2019 till march 2020 (because the covid19 both families left London), I’ve been a shared nanny for two babies (Ale&James) aged 4 months and 3 months at the moment I started. We had such a good time together! Since they left I've been working for an incredible family in Harringay, taking care, keeping safe and having fun with three amazing boys (1/3/5 yo).
I’m comfortable with twins, more than 1child and proxy parenting, weaning and potty training. I can give you more details and references from all my families and schools directors in private.
I have DBS check and pediatric first aid certificate. I’m also “life learning certificated” in children obesity prevention, psychomotor elements in early years, and infant assistance.

My Availability
I will be available 3 days pw (monday, Tuesday and Wednesday ideally, happy to discuss fridays).
Also happy to work for more than one family or split the 3 days between them.
I'm happy and comfortable with multiple children, babies, twins. I worked for the same family for 3 years taking care of 3 boys (1/3/5 when we started).
I won't be available on Thursdays because I will be looking after two amazing girls (1 and 6 yo).
They're more than happy to give references and I can also provide tons of others from local families (harringay).

During the time she spent with my children (18 months and 4 years), she recognized herself a dedicated and mature individual. She is very creative in proposing activities that are age-compatible for children, in order to stimulate them safely. She always behaves and reacts professionally even in adverse situations and I felt completely confident leaving them with her even when they were sick.
