Great and safe place

Our daughter went to Ilona's from 1 year old to 3.5 year old. The idea of trusting someone with our daughter's safety was very daunting to my husband and myself when I had to go back to work. We visited many childminders and nurseries. Ilona was the only one we really liked, and Ilona is the only adult our daughter went to spontaneously, which was a good sign. Her setting is a good balance between a childminder and a nursery. I do not know many childminders who take up to 10 children. I liked this in-between as I felt it was a homely setting when my daughter was still very young, and at the same time she could learn to socialise with other children and follow a nursery routine. Having 3 adults also meant there was extra safety and flexibility.
Ilona and her assistants have always been friendly, good communicators, and supportive. It is so obvious that they really care about the children they look after.
Our daughter has just moved to pre-school and she seems so much more advanced when it comes to communication, politeness, following instructions and being independent. Some of the credit definitively goes to Ilona and her team for always finding the right balance between stimulation, care and discipline.
I cannot recommend enough Ilona's setting. Finding her definitively made my return to work less painful knowing my daughter was well looked after, and would get a cuddle if she needed one.
