My Experience
I was a mother's help from August 2017 til Around October 2018. I worked 3:30pm til around 7pm each weekday helping a mother with her 2 year old son, and 6 month old twin girls. I helped to care for the toddler whilst she would attend to feeding the babies. I also helped with bath times of all children, dinnertime, changing nappies, and general care of all three children. I learnt a lot of skills from the other and gained enough experience to the point she trusted me to look after all three children by myself. I also occasionally did babysitting in the evenings.
My most recent job was as a Personal Care Assistant for a child with cerebral palsy. I provided personal care, helped with mealtimes, bathing and bedtime. Also provided childcare and support for whole family. Assisted on days out.
