I firstly contacted this childminder in October, she seemed keen to begin with to offer my 11 month old daughter a place, she then gave her place away because l never replied within 48hr of contacting her. She let me down then, l was then desperate for a childminder in November, so l messaged her again asking if she could possibly help considering how she left the situation with me in October. She agreed to meet up with me in mid November, then.. again because l couldn't provide her with a solid plan for my working hours that month, she refused to give my daughter a place with her, she also claimed to have concerns about me after speaking to my daughter's social worker (my daughter is involved with the local authority due to me being involved in a domestic violence relationship in my previous marriage). Be cautious of this childminder as she can be very indecisive at times!

If you are considering putting your baby or child in this nursery, think very carefully before doing so, the manager was extremely rude after l called up to complain about my daughter's place at the nursery being cancelled, no voicemail was left with me prior to this decision being made, l had verbal abuse and no apology given from the assistant manager at the time. I was due to return back to work the following week, so was desperate for childcare to be in place fairly quickly, so the nursery left me in a real predicament at the time. When collected my daughter from her first settling in period in a screaming state and no phone call was made to attempt to ask me to come and get her from the nursery (apparently they could not read my phone number correctly) she was left in a wet nappy for over an hour and a half and her bottle was not given to her (untouched in her changing bag), l did make a report to CSIW about this also. I complained to the manager, only to be ignored by phone and email, when you have an issue to address with Ocean Day care they fail on customer service and satisfaction completely. I have received no apology to date from the nursery, l then later discover that the manager had made a complaint about me to a social worker! shocking behaviour.. would never entertain using them, I wouldn't of felt comfortable leaving my daughter there, so it was a blessing in disguise her place got cancelled at the time.
