Hi parents! My name is Penny and I have been working with young children for over 15 years in primary schools. I've worked as a lunchtime playleader supervising children, listening to them read and helping them develop. I've also worked in after school clubs and temporarily worked as a deputy manager of an after school club.
In late 2019 I became a nanny to work with young children more closely. During my time as a nanny I have supervised children after school with homework, cooked for them and played with them. I currently work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays with one family, but I am looking to fill the other days - Monday, Thursday and Friday with another family. I'm working as an after school nanny at the moment, but I am seeking longer hours on these three days working with children of any ages. However, I am still open to being an after school nanny if this suits.
I have excellent references and always form a very close bond with the children and parents that I work with. I'm a non-smoker, fluent in English and Greek, have my own car, am first aid trained and I am on the DBS update service.
