About Me
I am, myself, a mother of two boys who are 3 years and 1 in December. My 3 year old goes to preschool Tuesday and Thursday during the day so ideally I am looking for a job which I can bring both with me, or during the times my son is at preschool just my youngest, as family is an important factor to me. This also means that your child has someone to play and socialise with, which is very important for their development. I have over 7 years childcare experience, as well as experience working in various primary schools, an after school art programme and GCSE tutoring. I have a level 2 and 3 in childcare, on top of this I have a Creative Arts foundation degree and an education degree. I have a good imagination and I am always inventing ways of keeping my sons occupied and stimulated, and before that using my ideas to entertain and stimulate the children in the nursery I worked at. I also have a clean driving experience and have been driving for 10 years.
My Experience
I have over 7 years experience in childcare, ranging from birth to 11 years old. As well as previously being a GCSE tutor for a college. I have ran my own family support art group alongside social services. I have worked in many primary schools so I have a range of experiences and skills which I have learnt from the different teaching methods. I used to be a beaver scout leader which has added to my experience of being outside and inventing games and activities on the spot to suit the needs of the children.
My Qualifications
Level 2 and 3 in childcare. Foundation degree in creative arts therapy and a degree in Education. I am a paediatric first aider. I have 11 GCSE's from a-c.
