My Summary

My Experience

I have ample experience with kids of all ages starting from newborns. I spent a summer in Spain followed by a year in Switzerland as an Au Pair for two amazing families where I formed a strong bond with the children and we still keep in touch. In Switzerland, I took care of two girls under 2, planning and performing their whole daily routine, including preparing meals for the whole family, bed-time, bath-time, and light housework. I was fully trusted with the children's daily routine and spent full days with them as the parents were busy professionals.

Additionally, I have worked at summer camps as an assistant and activity planner, as well as at weddings as a babysitter for multiple children at a time. I also have some experience as a volunteer helper in a Special Needs school in Bulgaria. During my time as a student in Edinburgh, I worked for 3 families (taking care of babies, primary school children and children with special needs) and have received very good feedback.

My Qualifications

I have first aid training from the time I was a volunteer at The Bulgarian Red Cross Youth. During university, I was also a Resident Assistant and received ample training on time management, quick response to emergency situations, and leadership.

Last summer, I undertook a short online course on Children's Developmental Psychology.
In the future, I would like to combine my landscape architecture work with research and practice to do with children's development. This is also what my dissertation focused on.

My Availability

I am available to work regularly or ad-hoc as an evening or weekend babysitter :)
