My Summary

My Experience

I have previously worked at a childminding setting with children ranging in age from 1-10 yrs old. During this time I was responsible for preparing healthy meals/snacks for the children, school drop off/pick ups, providing first aid when necessary, creating a bond with both the children and parents, taking the children on outings and helping them to better develop their understanding of the world. I have also worked at a breakfast/afterschool club. My duties in this role included engaging children in pre-planned activities, observations of the children and filling out necessary paperwork, setting up games and activities for the children and participating with them, creating a fun and engaging environment ect.
As well as this, I have previously fostered 5 of my 12 nieces and nephews ranging in age from newborn to 16 years. During this time I took the children to and from school, organised and helped with their homework, put the baby down for naps, taking the children on outings, making sure the children reached all their developmental milestones ect.
In addition to this one of my nephews is autistic and I have always played an active role in his life. This has meant I have developed a good understanding of SEN/Autism and the challenges that can come with this.

Paediatric first aid Certificate
Level 1 & 2 safeguarding Certificates
CASHE Level 3 Preparing to Work in Home Based Childcare Award
Full UK Manual Driving License
Access to Higher Education - Teacher Training
1st year BA Primary Education (QTS) Student

My Availability

I am currently available 8-3 Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday but this is likely to change due to university timetabling

I am available for ad hoc childcare and babysitting

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
• Nannying from £10.00 per hour (gross)

£12 per hour
