Hi my name is Patricia and I am a Registered Childminder and have been for 32 years I am now a Partner Provider with North Lanarkshire Council offering 1140 hours for eligible 2's and 3 and 4 year olds.

I live in Torbrex road, in the North Carbrain area of Cumbernauld I have been registered for 32 years and I love my job. I have 3 grown up children all of whom have children. I have experience of caring for all ages of children. I am a SCSWIS Grade 5 registered childminder. I can provide fully funded Council places for 2-5 year olds.

My service is a fun, safe, welcoming and with educational with opportunities to learn indoors and outdoors everyday. This is a real home from home environment that allows children to experience play with a mix of children.

The key to our day is to have flexibility and enjoy our local area, so I try to be out and about doing lots of activities to keep those little bodies and minds active. i am an active members of local toddler groups and go to plenty of NL events. I aim to be a positive role model for all the children and help them to grow and develop through every day play.
I provide a safe, secure and fun environment for all the children and strive to make both parents and children feel content and happy when using my service.
Each child in my care is valued and treated equally to enjoy an environment free from bullying and discrimination.

I am fully funded for 1140 hours for eligible 2 year olds and for 3-5's. You can place your child for the full funded hours with me (9-3 term time Mon to Fri or 48 weeks 23 hours) or I will consider blended care depending on the nursery placement.

I am fully qualified and fully trained, with up to date insurance, first aid and child protection. I also keep my training up to date working closely with the North Lanarkshire Childcare Team and Scottish Childminding Association and the Care Inspectorate

I have qualifications in First Aid (updated March 2022), Food Hygiene (recently updated March 2022), Infection Control, Scheme of Excellence and have completed the SVQ in Social Services and (Children and Young People) qualification. My service is available from 8.00am to 6.00pm Mon -Fri. I try to be as flexible as possible because I know what shift work is like. I pick up from Carbrain Nursery and primary School in Cumbernauld. I live across the road from The Tryst Sports Centre, very close to the bus-stop for the buses going into Glasgow. If you have any questions please give me a call, text or email me.
