About Me

A little introduction about me I am a naturally nurturing individual, it is instinctive for me to care for others. The satisfaction and emotional fulfilment I obtain when helping others is what has motivated me to go on and study midwifery. I am a very diligent and hardworking professional with a track record of meeting targets and specific goals. I am extremely motivated and driven. I aim to achieve the best result for myself and those working around me.

Through studying health and social care I have learnt that the most important factor is empowerment as it allows children to be independent and take ownership of their lives which will prepare them for their future lives. The course has also enabled me to understand children and help them develop their schemas through certain activities and meet developmental milestones. Being young I view myself as an extremely patient, fair and fun individual who can set boundaries with the right balance of firmness and kindness. Communication with parents is also important for me as it ensures their needs and requirements are met

I can perform a plethora amount of duties including personal care, feeding, cooking, household cleaning, assisting children with homework and assignments and most importantly creating a safe home environment. I was a fire cadet where I have learnt fire safety skill and how to keep myself and others safe by having an awareness of hazards and risk control measures. It has helped me develop first aiding and firefighting skills enabling me to create a safe environment and gain life skills to make a positive impact and be an active member of the community.

I am a 2nd yr Student Midwife who acts as an advocate for women helping them throughout their pregnancy and delivering their babies and supporting with breastfeeding
