I am a happy, enthusiastic and creative individual with a genuine passion for working with children of all ages. I have extensive knowledge around the care, development and education of children from birth right up to 19 years old. I am a self-motivated, confident individual with a unique skillset gained through doing a varied degree and working in a variety of child care settings for the previous 6 years. I am a caring, loving, warm person who loves to stay active and have fun!
My Experience
I have worked in a variety of child care settings throughout the past 6 years. Including; private nursery’s, public nursery’s and schools. I’m currently and have been for a year working in a private nursery as a child care practitioner where I care for the needs and education of children between the ages of 6months right up to 9 years old. This includes; planning educational tasks, feeding children (giving bottles), toileting, changing nappies and the overall general care.
My Qualifications
12 GCSE’s A*-C including English, Science and Child Care.
NVQ Level 3 Diploma Child Care and Child Development
NVQ Level 3 Extended Diploma Child Care and Child Development
BSc (hons) Education, Psychology and Special Educational Needs
Level 2 First Aid
Level 2 Food Hygiene
My Availability
My typical working hours are between Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm. However, I am highly flexible and am willing to do more hours. For instance, occasional weekends and evenings. I am also able to offer online tutoring and lessons plans to help with homework during the break from school with COVID-19.
