About Me
I am an honest, reliable and responsible person. In my role as a mum I have all the qualities you would expect; caring, patient, and flexible, with an ability to multi task and manage my time effectively. Most importantly perhaps a sense of humour. As an educator I can work effectively as part of a team, using my initiative and working pro actively to solve problems. The child's personal development is always at the heart of what we do.
On a personal level I am a very keen golfer and being outdoors is very important to me. I love to go to the beach, surf, swim in the sea, walk the dog, and generally keep active. i would make sure that exercising formed an integral part of a child's day.
Food is another passion of mine and I spend many hours baking cakes and puddings and trying out new recipes.
My Experience
For the last 20 years I have been at home looking after my own children or working with children and young adults in a professional setting. I have worked as a primary school teacher, nursery assistant, private tutor and I am currently working as a learning support assistant in a secondary school.
But i am looking for more flexibility in my working life and would rather work part time in a family setting than a school setting now my children are grown up.
