My Experience

I have undergone all the training and screening required by Care Inspection Wales

I have had 19 years’ experience of being a mum and nine years’ experience of working in a school whilst working closely with professionals I furthered my knowledge and passion for working with children.
I aim to provide care where children can learn in a safe and secure home-based environment

I will provide a range of activities whilst following the foundation phase of learning and development, these include; baking, playdough, painting, story time, song time, and lots of craft activities specially to keep up with those important dates in the calendar such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas, Diwali.
Indoor activities will include arts and crafts, baking, board games, free play, baking, imagery play with kitchen or garage, story time, building blocks, time to relax.
Outdoor activities will include sand and water play, riding on the little bikes and cars, playing on the slide and tree swing ,having fun with the mud kitchen, sensory play trays , playing sport games to keep us all fit and healthy whilst having lots of fun along the way. All activities are age appropriate and suitable to each child’s age and stage of development.
I regularly take the children to Mambo's and Toddler Gymnastics especially in the dark winter months although we do enjoy going for walks to local parks.
I also attend Toddler groups at least twice a week as this gives little ones a chance to mix with other children of the same age range.
In the school holidays I enjoy taking the children on day trips, we pack a picnic and go off for the whole day, some trips include; St Fagan’s, Barry Island, Cardiff Bay Barrage, Cefn Mably Farm. We also enjoy going Bowling and to the cinema all activities and outings are age appropriate.

My Availability

I am available Monday -Friday 8am - 5.30pm however I can be flexible to suit any needs.
I offer both full time and part time spaces and school runs from St Paul's nursery and Primary School and Grangetown nursery.

My Fees

• Childminding from £5.00 per hour

Fees will depend on hours required , happy to discuss.
