About Me
Hi! I hope you and your family are well at the moment :)
I’ve just returned home after being an au pair in NW London for a family with 2 girls, currently looking for some childcare positions whilst I’m back home.
I’m very passionate about childcare, I really enjoy creating a bond with children who can not just look up to you as a role model but also a friend/ big sister (or responsible career for younger ones). Someone they can trust and rely on, whilst having fun creating happy memories together. Having the opportunity to play a small part in helping kids develop is truly rewarding.
In March 2022 I came home after being an au pair in Paris for 6 months- an experience where I met so many amazing people, learning a lot about myself and growing my independence too! I really aspire to continue working and traveling abroad in the future, however right now I’m enjoying spending some time back at home before planning my next adventure in another country!
Growing up with younger cousins, I enjoy helping to care for them during holidays and I’m eager to gain some more childcare experience- helping out as a local babysitter/ part time nanny.
I always have a list of activities on hand to entertain children with; whether that’s crafting sock puppets, baking fairy cakes or helping out with schoolwork. I’m happy to help with any daily childcare chores you’re looking for.
As for me, I love being out in nature going on walks, practising yoga and recently been spending a little time at the start of my day meditating which I’ve already noticed makes a real improvement to your mindset- approaching your day with presence and gratitude :)

My Experience
In the past I’ve volunteered at a youth theatre group, NCT bumps & babies’ class for new mothers and helped teach children English in Sri Lanka for a week. I have CPR training and have babysat for neighbours children.
From Oct- Dec 2020, I also volunteered at my village primary school which I found very rewarding helping assist the year 2 teacher.
From Dec 2015- Mar 2018, I worked at a hairdressing salon during the weekends were I developed and built my confidence, responsibility and teamwork skills.
Most recently, I worked as an au pair both in London and abroad in Paris. I feel very privileged to have experienced these opportunity and they’ve taught me a lot about myself too! Helping me grow into the person I am today.
My tasks included the usual after school pick up routines; picking them up from school, helping with homework, taking them to after school clubs, furthering their english, assisting with dinner preparations, grocery shopping, walking their dog etc.
