About Me
I have been a childminder for the last 14 years based here in Knowle. I have 3 children of my own (17,14 and a 2 yr old) I love being a childminder, we enjoy spending lots of time outside using local woodlands, national trusts and farms.
The children I care for become part of my family. My house is a home and that’s exactly what I offer “a home from home” where your children are nurtured and taught in the most natural environment.

My Experience
I have over 14 years experience within childminding, but my history goes back working with children before I even left school.
I am from a large family and my mother was a childminder. I used to help out and babysit from an early age. I worked at the after school club at the Methodist church when it was running. I have also worked voluntary at 2 special schools. After college I worked as a health care assistant in local hospitals on various wards. I then set up my own business in childminding after I had my 1st child.
My Qualifications
I am DBS checked as is my daughter and husband.
I am first aid trained regularly and safe guarding.
I have completed NVQ level 2 and 3 in home based child care.
GNVQ ADV in health and social care.
