About Me
Hello! I am Cami, I am looking for a childcare job, ideally starting in September. I am returning to London after working in Scotland as a Summer Camp Counsellor and English Teacher. I have experience caring for children and babies and feel comfortable and confident around varied age groups. I enjoy being with children and am passionate about their development and wellbeing. I understand safeguarding and can provide a safe and fun environment for the children in my care. I also speak fluent Spanish.
My Experience
I worked as a nursery practitioner for 9 months, with children aged 6 months to 3 years. I am comfortable with children aged anywhere under 16, can change nappies and provide activities that are engaging and challenging, to ensure that they learn while having fun. I have extensive knowledge of the Early Years framework and curriculum and can provide insight on child development if needed. Additionally, I grew up caring for my 12 younger cousins, in a tightknit family; have experience as an English language tutor for 10 and 6-year-olds and was an assistant teacher for 3 consecutive summers in summer care, where I mainly worked with children aged 5-8. My most recent child-related experience is as a summer camp counsellor for Camp Cooper, in Scotland.
