Merton Pre-School is a friendly Pre-School with an excellent reputation. We welcome new families to come and visit us, book a visit during a session, we like to feel that you are seeing a true picture.
We aim to provide high-quality care and education for Pre-school children (from 2 years old till they go to school) in a fun, stimulating and caring environment. The staff work in partnership with parents to help children to learn and develop to their full potential. We also aim to add to the life and well-being of the local community and offer children and their parents a service which promotes equality and values diversity.
Alongside the Pre-school, all 3 and 4 year olds have an opportunity to join in 6 weeks of Forest School.
Our pre-school has been running in the community for over 20 years. The Pre-School Manager has been at the Pre-school for over 12 years and has over 20 years worth of childcare and teaching children in early years experience. All of the staff have had 5 or more years experience working with young children. 2 staff worked in special needs schools where they have picked up skills to work with a range of different needs.
The Pre-school Manager holds a BA (hons) in Childhood Studies, all the other staff hold a level 3 qualification in early years and childcare.
We are a term time Pre-school open Monday to Friday 9am-3pm.
