About Me
I currently work as a live-in nanny in Wandsworth, doing after-school in the term and full time in the holidays. Whilst the boys are at school I often fill my days working adhoc for different families, having sat for 83 families on other platforms with a 100% rating. Previously I have also worked full time for a family of four children, aged 10months to 9 and have worked at Mother Goose Nursery. All of which references can be provided.
I love being outdoors and orangising play date for my charges. More than happy to cook fresh, nutritious meals and assist with laundry if needed. I am also flexible in doing occasional babysits when arranged!
I also have a very friendly cavalier King Charles called Bailey who I appreciate being able to bring to work when able to.
I am currently looking to reduce my hours with my current family and am now looking to fill my mornings permanently.
My Experience
I currently work for a family of two boys aged eight and nine. In the past I have also worked as a junior nanny for a family of four children, aged 10months to 9. After the family relocated, I became a nursery practitioner. I have gained an in-depth experience of the EYFS and thus planning appropriate activities to help stimulate children’s development. I have also worked as a teaching assistant in a religion school setting, providing experience of working with children from aged 4-11. Before working in childcare I worked in the hospitality sector for many years even working my way to management level.
My Qualifications
I have a Safeguarding level 1 and 2 certificate as-well as a prevent duty training as part of my role as a nursery practitioner. I studied at the London School of Economics for just under a year studying Social Anthropology. The modules explored societal structures and how we grow as children to learn such societal norms. Prior to this I received three A-levels English (A) , Economics (A) and Religious Studies (A*) at sixth form.
My Availability
Fully flexible and able to work with individual families needs. Also available to travel with family on holidays if needed.
