About Me
I am just finishing off my Masters in Social Policy at the University of Birmingham, and I have a BA in Drama and Theatre Arts. I have been tutoring Maths, English and Drama for 5 years, and have been working with children for the past 7 years! I’ve worked in multiple different capacities- including, in-person tutoring, freelancing, individual lessons, in-school teaching, and online lessons for different tutoring services.
I specialise in creating fun tutoring sessions that builds children’s confidence, and creating strong relationships with my students and their parents. I believe the better you know your students, the better you’ll be able to help them learn.
My Experience
I am currently a tutor at Explore Learning, and in the past 5 years have been tutoring Maths and English for children aged between 5 and 16, working at Kumon. I’ve worked in person for the last year delivering Maths and English lessons for students in their homes, as well as 11+ prep, and A-level Drama tutoring. I also have been an assistant teacher for Stagecoach Performing arts, so I am capable of creating fun and engaging lessons!
My Qualifications
I graduated in July 2022 with a first from the University of Birmingham, and am currently completing an MA in Social Policy; which ends in September. I completed my A-Levels in 2019, achieving an A* in Drama, an A in English Literature, an A in Psychology and a B in Dance. At GCSE, amongst others, I achieved A*’s in English Literature and Language, and an A in Maths.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £30.00 per hour
My fees are £30 an hour for tutoring services (with a possible increase for travel fees)- but price is always negotiable!
