My husband and I have three daughters aged 14, 7 and 3 years old. My husband is a small business owner, I’m a doctor - we need good reliable childcare which gives us peace of mind and support to maintain our busy personal and professional lives.

We have gained a lot of experience with finding and employing childcare over the years - we think we know a good childcare provider when we see one!

Lourdes’ excellent reputation precedes her. When we told local families that Lourdes might have a space for our two younger girls (who were 2 and 6 years old at the time), we were told we were lucky to get a place with her and all comments/feedback within the local community were very positive - for example, one neighbour said “she’s fab” which just about sums it up!

We think Lourdes is outstanding – we call her the “baby/child-whisperer”. She has a calming influence on our girls and can get them to do things we cannot, for example she manages to get them to eat food they refuse to eat when we are around and she can get our littlest one to sleep much more easily than we can manage. She has a special way with children – our girls adore her and feel really comfortable in her care. They look forward to seeing her and spending time with her. We trust her with our precious adorable girls. She has become an important part of our family – we all love her.

Lourdes is positive and enthusiastic. She is proactive in her support of our children’s emotional development and learning. She takes an interest in them as individuals and tailors her care to their unique needs. She is very creative in developing ways of supporting our children’s learning - she makes learning fun and centres a lot of their learning outside which is so important for their overall well-being and development.

We can see how devoted Lourdes is to her work. She goes above and beyond what is expected when she cares for our children. She puts great effort into organising activities for them, engaging in imaginary play or doing an art project with them. Lourdes provides a calm and loving atmosphere for our daughters. When we return from work, we return to happy children who feel safe and secure - this is wonderful for us as working parents.

We feel lucky to have Lourdes in our lives.
