About Me
Hi I’m Remia I’m 22years old and work in a secondary school as a learning support assigned for SEN children. I have just finished completing a degree full time. Bachelors of Arts degree childhood studies (with SEN).
I have many different qualities such as good communication skills, empathy and honesty when working in partnership with parents and carers and in multi-disciplinary team working. I feel I am also enthusiastic and creative which are vital assets when working with children. I enjoy the responsibility and the challenge of working with children.
Throughout the Bachelor of arts Childhood Studies with SEN and a previous level 3 teaching assistant certificate, I have experienced several work based placements which has given me the opportunity to extend my theoretical knowledge with practical, thus enabling a more holistic understanding of child development and relevant curriculum's. I have previously completed on full academic year at this school and am keen to return with the knowledge and understanding of children and the significance of their development and I would love the opportunity and would further my training with eventually becoming qualified teacher.
These placements have included age ranges from the Birth to Three and Foundation Stage curriculum's and Key stage 1 of the National Curriculum.
