A well mannered, friendly and articulate qualified teacher with wide-ranging child-care experience; I am a keen horse-rider, swimmer and skier and I have completed my Gold Duke of Edinburgh award. I enjoy travelling and organised an 8 month independent trip including 4 months as a teaching assistant in Abu Dhabi, and 4 months in South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand gaining independence and organisational skills, resourcefulness and adaptability. I also spent two months working on a polo farm in Argentina. I have completed my Gold Award in LAMDA examinations, strengthening my passion for literature and theatre. This, and my enjoyment of reading, led me to choose a literacy specialism during my degree and provided me with a drive to instil a passion for reading in children.
