About Me
Hello, my name is Erin and I am a 25 year old primary school teacher based in Falkirk. I have been teaching for four years now and I have taught all three levels and six different classes since starting my career.
I attended the university of Edinburgh from 2016-2020 where I achieved my honours teaching degree. I love being apart of the outdoors due to growing up on a farm and I am an avid horse rider and dancer. I am a very friendly and approachable individual who always makes time for others and seeks opportunities to help pupils thrive in their own individual potential.
My Experience
My time at university allowed me to gain crucial and valuable teaching experience from 5 different primary schools ranging from Falkirk Council, West Lothian Council, Midlothian Council and finally the City of Edinburgh Council.
This experience was then transferred to my probation year where I taught a wonderful primary 4 class at Victoria Primary school in Falkirk. I then taught three wonderful classes ranging from primary 1, primary 3 and primary 5 at Nethermains Primary. Next I taught in Dalkeith to a lovely wee primary 7 class before finding my forever school in Livingston where I currently teach P6.
I have excellent knowledge and experience of teaching all aspects of the Curriculum for Excellence and all progression pathways. I have taken part in vast amounts of professional teaching training courses and this year have dedicated 42 hours worth to up-levelling my teaching standards.
I am a verified Apple teacher, Microsoft Innovative Educator, SAMH mental health advocate and this year I have carried out speech, language and communication training. This month I have also gained my Education Scotland certified course based on Leadership where I hope to grow in my career prospects.

My Availability

My Fees
- Tutoring from £20.00 per hour
For private tutoring it will be £20 per hour. This will include jotters, in session work and support work to carry out in own time. Assessments of the child for progression can also be provided if requested.
Due to summer approaching I will have different availability so please contact me for further information.
My tutoring fees also include travelling to the pupil to carry out in home learning.
Online tutoring through TEAMS can be provided if preferred but I would recommend in person teaching.
