About Me
Hello my name is Disa. I live in Battle with my husband and two teenage children who are 14 and 16. I have always had a passion for working with babies and young children. I studied Nursery Nursing at college where I carried out work placements at local nurseries. I then went on to complete a degree in Primary Education where I qualified as a Teacher.
My family and I enjoy camping, cycling, swimming, eating out and going to the cinema.
My Experience
I began teaching full time in 2000 and reduced to part time when I had my first child. I have taught Reception up to Year 4 so have gained plenty of experience with different age groups. Before my children started school I only worked one day a week so that I could be at home with them and enjoy watching them grow up and take them swimming, to local toddler groups and parks etc. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at home during these early years.
I have also had many years experience as part of the management committee of a local playgroup.
My Qualifications
BTEC National Diploma in Nursery Nursing
BA Hons in Primary Education
I have a full clean driving license and my own car.
DBS check
Reliable, trustworthy, flexible.
My Availability
I am currently teaching two days a week. I am therefore available Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays as a live out Nanny. I am ideally looking for a family who need childcare during the day time with a possibility to extend to after school hours.
