My son started with Debbie just before his first birthday and has been with her for just over 3 years. I chose to place my son with a childminder because I wanted to know that he was being looked after by the same person in a home environment that provided care in the same way as that of our home. Debbie has always provided that – she is caring and attentive to him whilst also encouraging him to become independent. She provides an immaculately clean, homely environment for him to play in, a variety of toys that develop his learning and is always easy to communicate with. He is also taken out every day to do different activities, go to different places and meet other children and adults. My son thoroughly enjoys being looked after by Debbie and regularly says ‘wait until I tell Debbie’ about things that happen on days when he is not with her. I would definitely recommend her to other parents.
