About Me
I am 62 years old and live in Burntwood with my Husband. Two of my children live close by with their partners. I have three grandchildren, two of which I see very often. I have a house specifically used for my childminding services.
I have been a registered childminder for over 32years now and as far as I know am the longest serving childminder in the Burntwood area still minding. over this time I have cared for many many children some of whom have their own children now and I have cared for these too! I am well known in the area and also well known at a number of local schools and nurseries.
My ethos is Very Much Learning through Play (EYFS) the children have free access to my safe garden area where they can play, explore, and grow their own vegetables which are served in the meals which I provide for them. We are a couple of yards from Chase Terrace Park which we visit a number of times each week. I do school and nursery pick ups from Chase Terrace Primary School and have very close links with all the staff there.
I OFFER FREE FUNDING FOR ELIGIBLE 2, 3, and 4 year olds.
My Experience
I have been a registered childminder for over 32 years.
I have looked after babies and children from 3 weeks old upwards.
I have worked with Social Services on many occassions providing respite for children known to the Authority.
I have had experience caring for newborn twins and premature babies for the Authority.
I have many years of experience with children with children with various health and educational needs.
I have all relevant and necessary training which is all up to date.
I have recently had my OFSTED INSPECTION and received a GOOD GRADE.
My Qualifications
I have NVQ Level 3
I have a first aid cert
I have a child protection Safeguarding Cert Level 1 and 2
I have a food hygeine Certificate
Together with the above which are regularly kept up to date I take regular training courses when available.
My Availability
Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
7 am - 6pm
Full time place, or part time place,or sessional place available for any age.

My Fees
- Childminding from £3.95 per hour
My fees are in line with the local area rates depending on hours and days required. All can be negotiated during your visit.
I provide home cooked meals on request at a small extra charge. Childcare Tax free payment is accepted
FREE FUNDING FOR ELIGIBLE 2,3,and 4 year olds is available.
