My Summary
About Me
I provide a homely, happy and safe environment for the children in my care.
I take the children to local playgroups and parks. We enjoy visiting the Museums and Art Galleries in Liverpool. Days out in Southport. Local play farms and Martin Mere are firm favourites. We socialise with other childminders and their children.
I am Ofsted registered and inspections take place every 3 years.
I am also registered with Lancashire County Council.
I have plenty of toys and resources for the children to enjoy and my garden area is large, safe and a secure place to play. The children enjoy baking and craft work.
My Experience
My own children a boy and girl, are now grown up. I have been childminding for the past 22 years and every day has been a joy.
The majority of the children I have cared for have been recommended by previous parents who have been very happy with my setting.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ 3 qualification in Early Years Child Care and Education. I am working towards the EYFS and I regularly attend courses to keep me up to date with childcare issues and practices. My First Aid certification is renewed every 3 years.

Wendy has looked after my daughter since she was 9 months old. I was a very nervous mum leaving my baby when returning to work but I had nothing to worry about as Wendy put me totally at ease! Ava has a wonderful time every time she is with Wendy. Her home is very welcoming and is filled with lots of toys and fun things for the children to do. Wendy also takes my little one on regular outings and her garden is huge and fantastic for them to explore. Wendy has a very caring nature and is brilliant with Ava, it's easy to see how much the children think of her. Wendy is a fantastic childminder and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
Overall
I can't recommend Wendy enough! She has looked after my 2 year old son for the past 6 months and he has come on leaps and bounds since he has been with her compared to nursery. She has a lovely home with so much for the children to do and has a fantastic relationship with all the children she looks after. Very Highly Recommended.
