Hi, my name is Kathryn and I have the NNEB diploma in childcare. I am a caring, reliable and patient person with years of child care experience. I live in Dronfield with my husband and our two daughters.
My Experience
Now in my 40's, I guess I'm classed as a mature Nanny...this isn't a bad thing, it simply means I now have years of childcare experience behind me including raising my own two daughters who are now 21 and 18 years old. Having my own children has provided me with experience in just about every childcare related situation I'm ever likely to encounter professionally and has also reinforced how much I love caring for babies and young children and being involved in their development.
From the age of 18, when I qualified, I have worked as a Nanny for over 18 years and as a Crèche Worker for the Derbyshire County Council's Children's Centres for almost 7 years. In my roles as a Nanny, I have worked for many families where I started with young babies (usually as mum is returning to work following maternity leave) and I have stayed with these families right through until the same little ones are starting school. Three of these long term jobs have been caring for twins, so the thought of multiples doesn't daunt me.

My Availability
I currently work for a family on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and so I'm available on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, I would also consider occasional weekend work.

Kathryn was a fantastic find and has very ably looked after my four young girls. She is flexible and unflappable and really enjoys playing with the kids rather than just passing time with them. Whenever it comes to her afternoon there is a hurray from the kids.
