About Me
We are a small family of Indian origin looking for an honest, trustworthy and easy going person to come join us and live as a family. You need to have a good sense of humour and have love for kids.
The boys are 10Y old, are well behaved (except when they fight amongst themselves) and have varied interests (piano, violin, saxophone, cricket and hockey).
They play cricket for the local club at Holmesdale and one of them plays hockey for Sevenoaks Hockey club.
My Requirements
We are a family of four with 2 boys (aged 10 / Y5). The boys attend the new beacon school in Brittain’s Lane.
Duties:
Annual: on average 7 hours per day
Holiday cover: 11 hrs per day
Term cover:
School run 3 pm am to 8 pm (or 7 30 pm): Post school run duties will include:
• Making sure they do their homework and music practice. We do not expect the nanny to teach them anything, just remind them their tasks. The boys are fairly independent, and they get on with their work.
• Giving them snacks; usually warmed in the microvawe / oven, etc.
• Preparing supper/dinner for the children while they finish their after school routine.
• Making sure their laundry is done.
• Unloading and loading the dishwasher.
• General tidying of the children’s room and putting their kits etc in order for school next day.
Additional info: We intend to WFH at least 1 day and maybe 2. On those days (Thurs/Fri), the nanny can leave early if need be. We will still pay the full hours till 7:30/8.
No of days:
• Ideally, we would be looking for someone who can do all 5 days, but we are willing to work around the availability of the nanny. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are a must.
Hours:
• We are looking for someone to do 5 hours per day. Please do note that we will also need holiday cover and the totals hours through the year will add up to 7 hours per day.
