I am looking for some Temp Nanny work over the summer holidays anytime between Monday 3rd and Monday 14th August as my current job is school term time only. I'm a non-driver and live in Leith so looking for something that is suitable for me traveling to...
I would consider F/T 3-5 days a week for 1-3weeks or the whole summer pending on your needs.
Or a P/T: half days 4-5 days a week or a P/T 2-3 Full days for the summer..

Or a full-time perm Nanny job anytime from beg. July onwards. Current council job is perm but we finish up for the summer on the 30th June, I need to give them 4 weeks notice only.
I started a new job within the council in summer 2016 & started a perm 5 day a week job term time only. I enjoyed working as Christmas temp 2016 in John Lewis from mid November - mid January.
I am currently considering working part-time over summer 2017 school holidays or in the evenings.
I've previously 3years on temp school year contracts with the council at 2 other schools/Nurseries in Edinburgh. Then from summer 2016 I started working in a perm part-time contracts at two schools closer to where I live. I now work in just one school as a pupil support worker working with various literacy groups and I'm also school Librarian too.
Im a Fully Qualified in Childcare and early years education for 19 years now and with 22 years experience working with children, bubbly, Caring, friendly person who is hardworking. I am quite a creative minded person and enjoy a variety of crafts and activities at home and at work. I am very punctual and organized and previous employers would also say that I have been accomidating and flexable to their extra hours, babysitting, working some days off and occassional Satrudays when unexpected things have arisen or child is off School/nursery sick.
In April and May 2017 I updated and completed my courses in Emergency first aid and child protection.
I enjoy a variety of crafts including crossstitch, Baking, drawing, papercrafts and Jewellery making. I have made alot of Jewellery for friends and family and have sold it also at craft events and fares too. I'm currently teaching myself wirework to explore this new aspect of Jewellery making to me a hobby I really enjoy.
I enjoy cooking and baking wether it's at home or at work particularly if it is for others.
I do a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities with the children as well as outtings and trips to various places, playdates, walks and parks, swimming, softplay, Baking, crafts etc...
I recently moved to Leith and am loving it!

My Experience
I have 22years Childcare experience mainly working as a Nanny and in Private Nurseries with Children aged 0-11.
I've worked for the council in schools and Nurseries for the last 4years.
Two years ago I was p/t in the school and nursery 5 days a week & worked p/t 3 days a week in Nanny job looking after a young baby (from newborn) and 4yr old boy. This Nanny positon finished up in June 2014 as my former Nanny child started school & the baby went to Full-time Nursery hours. I have loved working with this family for 15mths & working in my first school until June 2015.
At school & Nursery I have worked on a one to one with children with a variety of additional support needs: Downs, Autism, dexterity and movement issues ADHD as well as other things and currently spend pm Nursery on a one to one with a girl with Autism. I have over 6 years experience working with children with addition support needs.
I love Nanny work and this would be my favourite and prefered job in all the different childcare roles I have worked in over the last 22 years and ideally seeking a nanny job starting from September 2017 onwards but would possibly consider sooner for the right job.
My previous nanny jobs I have worked in perm or temp have all been for families with 2 or 3 children so am happy to work for a family with more than one child.
Prior to this I had been doing some temp work I am with a few Nanny agencies in Edinburgh who I have been doing some babysitting and Temp Nanny work with as and when its needed - I have been with them for some years now and have also worked for another agency also doing temp work - to various council run and private childcare facilities in Edinburgh - this was really interesting to visit different Chreces, Nursereies and After-School Clubs etc..
I have regularly Babysat for Friends and Family over the years, a few families long-term through my work and currently some of my temp nanny families.
My last Nanny family I had been working for for over a year and pior to this I worked for her colleague who recommended me to them and cont. to babysit occassionaly for both famlies.
I have spent 3 Summers doing volentary work in Canada working with Primary aged Children and Teenagers at weekly Childrens Clubs and Summer Camps which I really enjoyed.
I have been involved in various Weekly Childrens clubs, Summer Camps, Sunday School and Chrece's in the Uk over the years. These age ranges have been 0-5, 4-12, 13-16yrs old and I have enjoyed working with the various different aged Children.
And a few years ago I spent two summers at Camps in S.I., Scotland and England where I have been camp Nurse, Dorm leader, involved in all aspects but imparticular the Teaching and Crafts... these were alot of fun and nice to meet Adults and Children from other places.
I joined a puppet team 3years ago :-) which performed over the summer during the fringe this was a great deal of fun.

Mid/Late afternoon - evening Mon - Thursday, Friday's from 12.30/1pm onwards,
Saturday's - pending on my availability afternoons or evenings.
