About Me
Hi my names Kelly. I am a creative, hardworking, motivated and reliable person. I have an outgoing and bubbly personality and use this well in my work with children. I am very much a people person and am comfortable communicating with others old and young.
Health and fitness is a huge hobby of mine.
I have worked in childcare since a young age and have been in nursery settings as well as being a registered nanny previously. In 2013 I had a break from childcare and I became a Care and Support and very soon after, was promoted to Field Care Supervisor. I then progressed to become a Training Coordinator. I hold train the trainer certificates in First Aid, Moving and Handling, Safeguarding and Medication Administration. I hold level 3 Diplomas in Childcare and Education and Health and Social Care.
I have got two daughters, aged 4 and a half and 3. My elsest daughter is starting school in September and therefore, I am restarting my childcare journey again :)
I am currently looking for a family who are in need of a caring and loving environment for their child to develop. I would also be seeking a family who would be willing to allow me to bring my youngest daughter with me until she starts nursery in January 2020 when she will be doing 4 days per week. I can do early childcare until around 5/6 pm as long as you would be happy for me to go and collect my other daughter from school and have her with me also until their dad can collect them at around 4.30.

My Experience
I have worked with children since i was 13 when I was a childrens gymnastics coach working with chlidren ages 4-12. i went on to study childcare at college and then straight into a day care setting. I have worked within nurseries for over 5 years and have had some nannying experience, I am currently a care supervisor so have experience in every age range from 0-100. I also have 2 daughters. My experience has given me patience, organisation skills and the ability to work well alone on my own initative and implementing fun and educational activities both indoors and outdoors.
My Qualifications
I am in the process of being an Ofsted registered childminder.
I am a registered train the trainer in First Aid, Moving and Handling, Medication Administration and Safeguarding.
I have done course on managing behaviour with early years chidren, E-safety, early years conference with training lectures, ELKLAN speech and language, auditory memory training. I have a level 3 in Childcare and Education.
I have a level 3 in Health and Social Care.
GCSE's- maths C, english C, science D, childcare C, sociology C, expressive arts C, geography D, i.t B.
My Availability
I am currently in the process of registering as a childminder and will have capacity to work from 8am until 6pm Monday to Friday (additional hours can be discussed). I am hoping this process won't take too much longer to get up and running. But if you are looking for childcare towards the later end of 2019 then please contact me.
