Alison has looked after my children for a half day. I have never known a childminder to be so good. Alison and her husband Paul were incredible. We met Alison and her husband at their home first which was safe, secure and had a very nice homely atmosphere. They were personable and my partner and I immediately felt at ease....this lady knows what she is doing.

The circumstances on the day of me dropping the kids off took a turn which really would have been a humiliating experience for me and her family. They managed to turn this mess into a positive experience in the end. My car made some strange noises and metallic clunking and scraping noises so we pulled over on the way to their house with my children in the car. Catastrophe. But Alison and her husband jumped in their car to come and find us and while Paul drove the car back to where I lived, Alison drove me and the children back and they both took them home to their house. This was above and beyond the call of duty. I was astounded. So thank you Paul and Alison.

The children had the most wonderful time with them for the day...they collected eggs and vegetables at their allotment, played with the chickens and learnt how to make mini- greenhouses! They even gave us some produce from there. The kids loved the day and didn't actually want to come home! haha. If I could give a higher rating I would. This lady as a minder is solid gold. I hope she will be available to look after my children in the future as she will always be first choice.
