About Me
My name is Margaret Clarke and I live in South Sunderland. I have been married to my husband Jim for 32 years and we have two grown up children who no longer live at home.
I have been a registered child minder for 8 years now and really love it.
My Experience
I have been a registered child minder for 8 years and have looked after children of a variety of ages and from all different backgrounds.
I feel I create a welcoming environment where children are valued, nurtured and made to feel part of the family.
I have very good relationships with parents and even their extended families. As a result, I have looked after a number of children from being a baby right through to starting senior school and I have also gone on to look after younger siblings for many families.
I work from my home in Ryhope and have a wide range of toys and facilities to cater for all ages (i.e. educational games, messy play, arts and crafts, imaginative play such as dress up costumes, story telling etc.)
I take children on daily outings as I feel it is important for them to interact with other children and get outdoors as much as possible. Outings include: local play groups, the local farm, ('Down At the Farm' - for which I have a season ticket), parks, the beach, libraries and the local museum.
I am able to drop children off at St. Paul's C.E. Primary School in Ryhope village and pick up from there also.
