About Me
I worked at an after school and holiday club for five years after volunteering there for a summer, this is what made me realise I wanted to work with children as a permanent job. During my schooling I volunteered in a variety of different schools, years and classes. I also tutored year elevens on the D/C borderline for their GCSE Math’s exam and helped to set up a moving Math's club for 4-8 year olds at different schools playing games and teaching Math’s in a fun way! I was a registered carer with Cambridgeshire council for a young girl who suffers from 22q11.2 deletion syndrome; for 3 days week and Easter and half terms. I definitely love to cook and listen to music! Reading is also another one of my major hobbies; I love books of all kinds, and clothes/fashion are also a big passion of mine.

My Experience
I am a reliable and punctual 29 year old and have completed a three year Early Childhood Studies degree which has improved my ability to work as a team, my timekeeping and organizational skills. Through this course I have completed a four week placement in a nursery school in Northampton, a three week placement at a special educational needs (SEN) school in Rugby, and a two week placement at another SEN school in Northampton.
I also worked at a nursery in Northampton, mainly within the under two’s and baby rooms. I have partaken in a placement in Sweden that was made available through my course at the university, this involved me spending three days at three different schools while there, learning as much as I could about Swedish culture.
I am currently working at a facility in Cambridgeshire, Meldreth Manor School and Children’s Home, supporting disabled children with quite complex difficulties. I feel I have good communication and people skills, which have been extensively used in a multitude of ways within University and my current position; an excellent ability to work well as a team; and a respectable amount of patience. I am fully CRB checked and can provide proof of qualifications. I was promoted to a senior role which means I am now in charge of organising outside trips; making sure we have money, tickets and risk assessments. I also plan all of our internal activities, including ordering/upkeeping all of our resources and ensuring every child has a choice of activities they enjoy.

My Fees
- Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
I normally charge from £10 to £15 an hour depending on the needs of the child(ren) and the activities I would be doing.
